Okay so now that I posted an enlargeable picture of the family I of course have to put up an enlargeable picture of my kids. So here's Miranda and Samuel in one of my very favorite pictures. Aren't they cute? Yes, I thought so too. (I'm not at all a biased Mom talking about her own kids.) They look so sweet, innocent, and adorable. It's nice to have pictures like this to look at when the kids aren't acting so picture-perfect.

By request I put I our family picture on the actual blog instead of the sidebar so that it can be enlarged. I thought I ought to put a family picture on because some people may have never met my husband, Nick, or only met him at the wedding.
Now that I have a picture of my kids as the perpetual first element in the sidebar, I can publish a post that includes the link to my thesis. So I know that this is pretty grand-standing-ish of me, but I was really excited when I got this finished and wanted to let everyone possible know about it. (Now I'm not as impressed with it because I flipped through it a couple time and found a number of errors.) I, of course, don't expect anyone to actually look at it, much less read any of it, but I wanted to have the URL available (which you have to copy--both lines separately--and paste) because it was such a big part of my family's life for a long time. So here's the link to the info (title, author, abstract, etc), which has a link to the actual pdf (complete with chapter bookmarks which I had never seen before and I thought were a very nice feature).

YEAH, a comment. One person has visited my blog. I'm very excited. Unfortunately, that's the most exciting thing that I have to post. I realized that I almost never take still pictures anymore. If I want to record something I use the camcorder. Hence, no cute pictures of my kids to post. . .yet. I'll work on that.

In other news, we used our clearplay for the first time last night. I was pretty impressed with it. Since Jeff was the one to make it work, I suggest you contact him with any questions. (Of course since Amy is the only one who ckecks this blog that wouldn't be very helpful.)

In other, other news, I emailed Brant Gardner, the author of "An Analytical and Contextual Commentary on the Book of Mormon." This is a 6 volume set that is really well done. Every time I read a new section I'm surprised at something that he points out, which should have been obvious to me but I had totally missed. So, he emailed me back and that was cool. I definitely recommend his work. From what I understand most of it is available online if you want to read parts of it. (Just google Brant Gardner and I think his site will come up.)
